This is a great single malt and a nice alternative for those who enjoy names like Macallan, Aberlour and Balvenie. A very well balanced single that is matured in 50% Bourbon American White Oak and 50% Oloroso Sherry Wood. Pours a deep golden color with some orange highlights. The nose had nice aromas of spice, sea salt with notes of citrus and vanilla. The palate was concentrated but delicate at the same time with wonderful flavors of citrus, vanilla extract, sherry and dried red fruits.
